INDIA HINDI
"Mai gaau tu so jaa.."
        Depicting the bonding of the mother and child where she says that she will be singing while the child goes to sleep
INDIA MARATHI "Nimbonichya zadamage chandra zopala.."
UK "Silent night.."      A Christmas carol describing the moment  of celebration when Lord Jesus was born.
FRANCE "  "

GERMANY "Wigeinlied"   A lullaby asking a child to sleep considering him as a prince.

JAPAN "Takeda Lullaby"   A lullaby depicting the hardships borne by the care taker where she is asking the child to sleep and also lamenting about her helplessness and the poverty she is living in.

SPAIN "A nana  nita nana"    A Mexican lullaby telling baby Jesus to sleep.

OTHER ASSEMBLIES

BAMBOO DANCE

   Bamboo dance was done on Independence Day of India 15th august 2015. Children involved were of 10th standard. Live music was given for the same.
It is a folk dance from Mizoram.

GONDHAL

   Gondhal dance was done on a special assembly to greet our guests from our UK partner School. Children involved were of 7th, 8th and 9th standard.It is a folk dance from Maharashtra.
 

BHARATNATYAM


Bharatnatyam is one of the classical dances of India, originated in the temples of Tamilnadu. It is performed by males and females. The present dance is performed by standard 9th students on the occasion of Mahakavi Kalidas Day Programme. They performed on “Shadakshar Strotra – Om Namah Shivay”.
